A Commitment to Research Mentorship, Scientific Cross-Cultivation and Innovative Team Science

As a Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE, NIH P20 GM130456), the mission of the COBRE for Translational Chemical Biology (CTCB) is to support junior faculty career development, advance impactful translational chemical biology research/tools, and stimulate transdisciplinary collaboration, research innovation and early translation. Select CTCB assays, probes, or early stage leads may advance to the University of Kentucky’s lead development hub (the Center for Pharmaceutical Research and Innovation, CPRI) for further development.

Therapeutics Outcomes Discovery and Delivery (TODD) Symposium on Translational Chemical Biology was held at the College of Pharmacy on October 15, 2024.

NIH Awards $11.2 Million for Pharmaceutical Research and Innovation Center at UK

The University of Kentucky was awarded a prestigious Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) grant to study translational chemical biology from the National Institutes of General Medical Sciences, part of the National Institutes of Health.
