Arryn Taylor Blaine, PhD, is a Lecturer in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Blaine received her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and doctorate degree in Medicinal Chemistry & Molecular Pharmacology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Her research was focused on opioid pharmacology and preclinical drug development. After graduating, Dr. Blaine taught chemistry at Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis, Indiana, and worked as a technical writer in the Intellectual Property Department of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, aiding in patent prosecution.
