    LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky Alumni Association and the College of Pharmacy proudly announce the recipients of this year’s Lyman T. Johnson Awards, honoring alumni and students who embody the life and legacy of civil rights pioneer Lyman T. Johnson.

    Pharmacy Around the World, an educational trip organized by the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy (UKCOP), brought together alumni and faculty for ten days of learning, connection, and discovery. Unlike past exchanges focused on current students, this was a chance for graduates and faculty to deepen a partnership with Kitasato University that has thrived for 35 years.

    Now entering its eighth year, the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy (UKCOP) was the first pharmacy school in the nation to require a dedicated, stand-alone Diagnosis course.

All alumni, friends, employees, current students, and their families are invited to the annual College of Pharmacy tailgate bash under the big tent.  Date: October 18, 2025 (UK v Texas game tickets sold separately) Time: 3 hours before kickoff (game time TBD) Where: On the corner of Farm Road and Nicholasville Road in the front lawn area of the Gluck Equine Research Center What: Food, fun, games, televisions, live music and cash bar (or BYOB)
