Melissa Somma McGivney serves as Chief of Professional and Member Engagement at the American Pharmacists Association. She joined APhA after 27 years in academia, most recently as Associate Dean for Student Success and Professional Initiatives and tenured Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, where she led transformative efforts in community pharmacy practice, education, and public health. She is a founding member of the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Care Network and developed the nationwide ACT Pharmacy Collaborative. She has served on the APhA Board of Trustees.
