David D. Allen, Ph.D., FASHP, FNAP, FAPhA, is a higher education administrator who has served in national and university leadership roles throughout his career. He currently serves as administrative lead for Project Encompass and as Professor of BioMolecular Sciences at the University of Mississippi. He received his bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of Kentucky and worked in community pharmacy for several years before returning to UK to earn his doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences. His career reflects a long-standing commitment to pharmacy education and professional leadership at the national level.
