Originally from California, Dr. Pandya received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy and subsequently completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 Critical Care Specialty Residency at the University of Kentucky HealthCare. Dr. Pandya’s current responsibilities include providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in the cardiothoracic surgery intensive care unit. She is also active in precepting pharmacy residents, pharmacy students, multiple types of PGY2 specialty residents, and interdisciplinary students while on rotation with cardiothoracic surgery. Areas of interest include mechanical cardiac support, hyperglycemia management, hemostasis following cardiac surgery, perioperative arrhythmias as well as sedation in the ICU.
