Brooke Watts, PharmD
Adjunct Assistant Professor
Dr. Brooke Watts is a clinical pharmacist specialist in the area of orthopedic surgery and geriatric medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She then completed her PharmD at the University of Kentucky (UK) College of Pharmacy in Lexington, KY and went on to complete a PGY1 residency at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. Brooke’s practice interests include surgical site infections, geriatric optimization and deprescribing, and student and resident development. She is an assistant adjunct professor at UK College of Pharmacy and serves as the faculty advisor for the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHP). Her interests outside of work include outdoor activities, University of Kentucky basketball and traveling the world.
