Pedagogy Specialist

The role I fill in the College of Pharmacy is as the resident "education expert." I work with the faculty to develop and promote sound instructional planning and delivery practices in the classroom, both face-to-face and online. I provide training in learning theories, frameworks, and instructional strategies, as well as educational technology. To this end, I am the College's key administrator for both Canvas (the LMS) and ExamSoft (online testing platform).

I am a formally trained educator with two Master's degrees in education, including one in Instructional Design. My 16 years of classroom experience includes 8 years as a facilitator of online classes and 5 years working in an alternative learning center with at-risk adolescents and adults.
