Each year, the UK College of Pharmacy invites scientists from across campus and the nation to discuss the latest scientific advances in pharmaceutical sciences. AAPS Coffee Hours

On June 2nd from noon to 2 PM, AAPS will be hosting the monthly coffee hours in TODD 370. AAPS will provide coffee and some snacks. You can stop in to just grab a cup or hang out for a while and have your lunch with other grad students. Contact Jack Keady with questions or concerns.

Elevating the Stories of Black Women: Dr. Virginia Alexander and Shirley Chisholm

The University of Kentucky Center for Health Equity Transformation is hosting the next event in its 2022-2023 Elevating Equity Speaker Series, co-sponsored by Anthem BlueCross and BlueShield Medicaid, the Gaines Center for the Humanities, and the Commonwealth Institute for Black Studies. Join us for a conversation with Dr. Vanessa Northington Gamble and Dr. Anastasia Curwood about the lives of Dr. Virginia Alexander and Shirley Chisholm, their experiences as biographers, and the importance of telling Black women’s stories.

Global Health Book Club

Join globally-minded faculty, staff, and students and engage in global health thought without getting on a plane. Participants will read at their own pace, have support from the Office of Global Health Initiatives, and be able to discuss the book with fellow readers at their choice of an in-person or virtual small group event.

State of the College Address
