UK College of Pharmacy Receives $5 Million to Further Malaria Research

Approximately $5 million in additional funding from the Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (GHIT) has been awarded to the lab of Dean Kip Guy at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, in partnership with Eisai Pharmaceuticals and Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV), for ongoing malaria research.

College of Pharmacy to Host Symposium on Drug Discovery & Development

The UK College of Pharmacy will host its eighth annual Symposium on Drug Discovery and Development on Thursday, August 10, 2017. This year’s Symposium is in partnership with the College’s Natural Products Consortium. The Symposium will feature recent advances in the design of antibody-drug conjugates for treating cancer and other diseases, as well as advances in our understanding how Nature generates compounds that have been exploited in medicine, agriculture, and biotechnology.

APhA-ASP Regional Awards

American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is a national organization dedicated to promoting student growth, improved patient care, and the profession of pharmacy.
