Rachael Stone and her team won first in the Student Case Competition and third place in the Student Poster Competition at the Collaborating Across Borders (CAB) VII Conference in October. Collaborating Across Borders is an international conference that promotes interprofessionalism with the goal of advancing interprofessional, collaborative practice to improve quality care and health outcomes.

Rachael represented the UK College of Pharmacy on a team of five interprofessional students from other universities, in which they had 45 minutes to develop a collaborative care plan from a patient case and present it to a panel of judges. Her poster, “The Influence of Interprofessional Student Organizations on Dual Identity Development Among Student Leaders,” was a joint research effort in collaboration with the UK Center for Interprofessional Healthcare Education. These are very high honors that attest to the quality of her work and dedication to interprofessional education, practice, and research. She represented our College and University well.
