Hope Brandon, PharmD, MBA
Pharmacy Practice and Science Lecturer
Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Brandon completed her undergraduate training at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She then returned to Memphis, where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Memphis.
She completed a PGY1 Acute Care Residency at UK HealthCare and a PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency at Kentucky Children’s Hospital, followed by an Academic Fellowship at the UK College of Pharmacy. Dr. Brandon then joined the faculty at the UK College of Pharmacy as the Pharmacy Practice and Science Lecturer, teaching in the PharmD and BSPS curricula.
Dr. Brandon enjoys all aspects of pediatrics and women's health, with clinical interest areas including pediatric critical care, pediatric surgery, maternal-fetal medicine, and drugs in pregnancy. Dr. Brandon also enjoys research design and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
Dr. Brandon is actively involved in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). In her free time, she enjoys gardening, baking, painting and crafting, traveling with her husband, and playing with her cat, Triscuit.
