Dylan Nelson, PharmD

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Dr. Dylan Nelson is the Associate Director of Perioperative Pharmacy Services at the University of Kentucky HealthCare (UKHealthCare). Dr. Nelson received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. While at Intermountain Healthcare he completed an ASHP accredited two-year Health System Pharmacy Administration (HSPA) Residency in 2018. Following residency, Dr. Nelson managed the pediatric pharmacy satellite at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for 18 months before joining the Pharmacy Department at UKHealthCare in his current role.  Current responsibilities include management of the OR satellite and surgery service line. Dr. Nelson serves as the pharmacy lead for Perioperative P&T subcommittee. Dr. Nelson precepts pharmacy residents and students in pharmacy operations and clinical management.
