Privacy

We explicitly ask when we need information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information"). For example, tuition deposits, you will be asked to provide your name, e-mail address, and other identifying information. We use this information to tie your payment to the application process. If at any time you believe this site has not adhered to these principles, please notify us by email and we will use all reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem. Credit Card Transactions

The College of Pharmacy uses credit card transactions to collect student fees and tuition deposits. The operators of this site would like to assure you that measures have been taken to make such transactions secure.

This site utilizes industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) servers to encrypt your information and prevent unauthorized access.

All payments are processed is USD (United States Dollars) using Worldpay.

Shortly after a purchase or refund is processed, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail. You are advised to print out and save a copy of the order confirmation for verification necessary to request refunds or resolve any disputes. This Web site guarantees that every transaction will be 100 percent safe. This means you are not responsible for unauthorized transactions posted to your credit card that occur as a result of submitting a credit card number to this site.

Refund Policy

Unless in the case of technical error, no payments made to this site are refundable.

We wish to remember and honor those who inhabited this Commonwealth before the arrival of the Europeans. Briefly occupying these lands were the Osage, Wyndott tribe, and Miami peoples. The Adena and Hopewell peoples, who are recognized by the naming of the time period in which they resided here, were here more permanently. Some of their mounds remain in the Lexington area, including at UK’s Adena Park.

In more recent years, the Cherokee occupied southeast Kentucky, the Yuchi southwest Kentucky, the Chickasaw extreme western Kentucky and the Shawnee central Kentucky including what is now the city of Lexington. The Shawnee left when colonization pushed through the Appalachian Mountains. Lower Shawnee Town ceremonial grounds are still visible in Greenup County.

We honor the first inhabitants who were here, respect their culture, and acknowledge the presence of their descendants who are here today in all walks of life including fellow pharmacists and healthcare professionals.
