Graf Named Assistant Dean for Translational Research

Gregory Graf, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, has accepted a newly-created role within the UK College of Pharmacy. Dr. Graf will serve as the College’s first Assistant Dean for Translational Research.

In this capacity, Dr. Graf will work closely with Linda Dwoskin, Associate Dean for Research, providing needed support to that office as the College seeks to augment its competitive research portfolio.

“I am excited to be able to work alongside Greg in this new endeavor,” said Dr. Dwoskin. “He is one of the most prepared, thoughtful and respected faculty members in our College, and his research acumen is well-known. He will be a great asset to the UK College of Pharmacy Research Office.”

In addition to assisting Dr. Dwoskin, Dr. Graf will serve as advisor to UK’s Nanobiotechnology Center, collaborate with UK’s Center for Clinical and Translational Science, and coordinate the College’s Fundamentals of Bioethics course.

This administrative appointment is a two-year term and is effective immediately.
