Dean Emeritus Roberts Receives National Kappa Psi Recognition

Kenneth B. Roberts, Dean Emeritus at the UK College of Pharmacy and the Earl P. Slone Professor in the College’s Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science, was recognized by the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity at the organization’s Grand Council Convention in Denver, Colorado on August 7th.

Dr. Roberts, who served as Dean at the College from 2000 through 2009, was honored as a “Leader and Legend” at the 57th Grand Council Convention in Denver.

Dr. Roberts was first initiated into Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity as a student member in 1965 at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. He has served the organization in many capacities over the years including Grant Regent (national president) of Kappa Psi from 1987 to 1989. He remains active in the fraternity as a mentor for current UK members of the College’s Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Psi and as a member of the Kentucky Graduate Chapter.
